NewWarning to all who use a weed eater, trimmer or anything else around your tree: If you trim off the bark and cut into the phloem of the tree all the way around it with your trimmer you can easily kill your tree if you haven't done it already because nutrients cannot go up the tree. Paragraph

Some may wonder whether they should cut down their tree or not. The fact of the matter it really depends on what you want. But if the tree is dead then yes you should get it down. If it falls and damages something or worse yet, hurts someone you would be responsible for any damages. . Is it tearing up your driveway or home foundation. Then again yes you should remove the tree to protect the investment of your home. Maybe it is neither. Maybe it is that your tree wont let your grass grow. Some grasses grow good around trees. Or maybe you have a tree over a pool or screened in enclosure for a pool. Is it interfering with a fence line that you cant live with. Do you love your trees but they just keep making a mess. Sometimes trimming a tree can be the best option. You would still have some leaves though. Keep this in mind. If you have your trees trimmed, in most cases you should not get more than 1/3 of it trimmed off. A tree needs leaves to take in the sunlight that converts water in the tree and carbon dioxide from the air and turns it into food for the tree. A tree can still live If you cut all its branches off and left it like a cactus in a desert, but is it good for the health of the tree, No not really. Some trees will actually die.
